This blend was created in collaboration with Lovely Village with the desire to bring hope to the city of Waco through dynamic partnerships. Through an initial conversation with Brett & Emily Mills, they made it clear that they did not like many of the third wave coffees that tasted “sour” but were more interested in classic coffee profiles that reminded them of smoking a pack of Marlboro cigarettes. With that in mind, we cupped coffees that could draw out the smokiness of a darker roast, while giving depth to the cup with a full-bodied chocolatey and nutty taste. This classic coffee profile works well on drip and as espresso.
